Ritzen Castle
The Schloss Ritzen Museum is home to a large number of folkloric items as well as farming exhibits from the area of Saalfelden. Especially significant is the nativity scene collection of Xandi Schläffer as well as an extensive collection of images. The works of watercolour painter Gottfried Salzmann are on display, paying particular attention to the theme of pilgrimage, as well as other regular exhibitions. One section of the house is dedicated to the pre-and early history of the Pinzgau region, as well as the Romanesque frescoes of Saalfelden-Wieserberg.
