BEECHROCK 1000 - Buchensteinwand Loop

Easy-going loop around the Buchensteinwand, on which the famous Jakobscross can be seen.

From the centre of Saalbach via Spielberghaus to Pfaffenschwendt, the tour runs along the mountain ridge slightly above Fieberbrunn and St. Jakob around the Buchensteinwand. The famous Jakobscross appears several times. Via Wiesensee, Hochfilzen and Leogang on cycle paths off the roads on to Saalfelden and Maishofen to connect with the Glemmtal cycle path.
