SH 78 Tirol Roundtour

Extensive and varied day tour for fit bikers.

From Hinterglemm you start up via the Pfefferweg past the Pfefferalm and Wieseralm to the Rosswaldhütte and from there to the Reiterkogel, the first big climb with panoramic reward is done. Via the Wetterkreuz and the "Hennerleiter" you descend into the Hörndlinger Graben and then roll relaxed down the valley to just before Hochfilzen. A short stretch along the road to Hochfilzen, then it's along the cycle path to Hütten just before Leogang. Here it's off-road again, on beautiful forest roads through the Schwarzleo Valley and then through the Bavarian Saal Forest up to the Asitzbahn mountain station (if you are tired beforehand, you can also use the cable car to get here). The Asitz trail takes you to the Schönleitenhütte and from there, after a long traverse of the slope over to the Spielberghaus, down to Saalbach and on to Hinterglemm.
