100% ski operation during the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2025! Lift and piste operation is unrestricted, including the Zwölferkogel. This means that you can also watch the races from the piste - provided you have a valid ski pass.

It is possible for local residents, employees of local businesses, hotel guests or day ski guests to drive directly to Saalbach Hinterglemm by car. Please note that car parking is limited. For day guests there is a signposted large car park in Maishofen as well as free shuttles to the arena.

There are a very small number of official pitches in Saalbach Hinterglemm. Wild camping is prohibited in the entire local area. Larger campsites are located in Maishofen and Zell am See.
General lorry driving ban
A truck driving ban applies from 6 to 16 February 2025 in the period from 06:30 - 12:00 driving towards Hinterglemm and only on race days. This official driving ban for lorries over 3.5 tonnes only comes into force after Viehhofen.
Lorry deliveries
We ask suppliers to coordinate their deliveries (consumables, cleaning services, etc.) by lorry accordingly. In particular, deliveries in the centre from the Hinterglemm Ost bus terminal to ‘Der Gollinger’ and for businesses along the L111 must be completed by 7.30 a.m. at the latest so as not to obstruct the public routes.
